A system of which a subset of the general populace are members , typically starts by professing objectivity but tend to steer itself in a direction dictated by influential members over a period of time .
Their numbers, small or large or source of influence, inside or outside or the direction , right or wrong; are all immaterial.
This may also lead to its ultimate downfall .
A periodic nudge that allows for opposing forces to be balanced is mandatory for the stability and longevity of the system.
This also allows the system to move towards it goal .
A drastic course correction becomes mandatory in the absence of periodic nudges. But it also results in major upheavals that the system may not withstand , again leading to its downfall.
Hence social media systems or parties or any group of people , that are examples of such system are invariably doomed for downfall for reasons mentioned above.
Exception being that such systems allow themselves to be corrected along the way through nudges .
